“The Legacy of the Baobab Tree.
Leap Institute bases its principles and philosophy on the Legacy of the Baobab Tree.
The Baobab Tree has always been a symbol and source of Great strength, sustainability and wisdom. The Baobab tree grows slowly and steadily over centuries and can live for thousands of years. Some are believed to be even older than the pyramids of Giza and cutting them down does not exterminate them as their roots continue to live.
They provide food from their leaves and fruit; store up to thousands of litres of water in their vast trunks; provide shelter to insects, plants and animals; and their leaves have medicinal qualities for relief from sickness. Ancient leaders often congregated under them not just for shelter but also believing that from the tree’s spirit they would receive wisdom and guidance for their decisions.
The Baobab Tree supports the life of countless creatures and Leap Institute is likewise inspired to be a reservoir that provides the nation with the skills, education, training and development required for progress and sustainability.
The Baobab Tree grows slowly and steadily over centuries; in the same way, our long-term symbiotic relationship with our customers will grow over years through providing quality accredited products and services in a professional manner.
The Baobab Tree is not easily exterminated due to its robust roots, this is indicative of its innovativeness to continuously recreate itself. In the same way, we believe our existence is upheld by nothing except our innovativeness.
Through its life-giving properties, The Baobab Tree can be relied upon to provide food and water. We are inspired to be like The Baobab Tree, to be known as an organization with integrity that can be relied upon at all times.
At Leap Institute, we envision a world where every individual has the opportunity to unlock their full potential through continuous learning and development.
